Research

My general research interests include developing and applying mathematical/computational methods to understand the structure and dynamics of complex systems that consist of a large number of interacting components (e.g., biological, social). A useful way to think about these systems is by mapping them onto a network. I am particularly interested in investigating the topological structure of biological networks and how it relates to function. An overview of my (past and current) work can be found here.
